nVision has several special counters designed to monitor mail and web servers. These counters not only connect to the server, but also perform some test to ensure proper server operation: test the page load time and content, list incoming e-mails and try to send a test e-mail. To perform such test operations, you have to create the appropriate counter on the Performance counters tab in the Host info window.
