Setting a default policy

The default policy is a policy that is automatically assigned to each newly created profile. The list of policies of each type must include the default policy. The default policy cannot be deleted.

 

To set the default policy:

1.In the nVision console, click the Tools tab.

2.Click the Manage button.

3.In the drop-down list, click the Manage policies button.

4.Click the policy that appears in the list of policies (it cannot be set as the default one!) and click the Set as default button or right-click the policy you want to set as the default one, and then click the Set as default button.

5.Click Yes in the default policy setting confirmation window.

 

Once you have completed the steps above, the selected policy will be the default policy.

If the selected policy is already the default policy, the Set as default button will be grayed out.
