nVision Server must operate at a static IP address. nVision server: •double core CPU, •4 GB RAM, •10 GB of free disk space, •64-bit operating system, •Windows Server operating system, version: 2008 R2 or newer.
Recommended for monitoring more than 1000 Agents: •nVision on a dedicated physical machine (not virtual), •quad core processor, •minimum 8GB RAM (for each additional 1000 Agents further 8GB RAM), •fast hard disk. Required CPU speed and memory usage are related to the number of monitored devices and the scope of monitoring. In order to achieve the best possible performance, the nVision server installation on fast SSD disks is recommended. For more information on required configuration of large nets (more than 250 Agents), see chapter nVision performance. nVision Console: •double core CPU, •2 GB RAM, •400 MB of free disk space, •64-bit operating system, •Windows Vista or newer, •nVision Server connected to LAN, TCP port 4436, •for proper generation of reports, Internet Explorer 8.0 or newer is required (the latest available version is recommended). nVision Agent: •single core CPU, •128 MB RAM, •100 MB of free disk space, •Windows XP or newer, •nVision Server connected to TCP port 4436.
