Adding an anonymous ticket

The creation of an anonymous ticket is very different from that of a regular ticket. The anonymous ticket is added using a special form. Besides, the reporter does not have access to the ticket after it has been created (unless they are granted access to the anonymous ticket in the course of its proceeding).

 

To add a new anonymous ticket from the HelpDesk interface:

1.Click the Anonymous tickets link in the footer.

2.Click the Select category field and then click the selected category name.

3.Enter the subject of the anonymous ticket.

4.Describe comprehensively the violation you want to report.

5.(OPTIONALLY) Provide your contact details so that the assignee can contact you - Read carefully the message above the “Contact details” field!

6.Click the Add ticket button.

 

Note! Make sure that the anonymous ticket creation option is enabled!

Once you have properly completed the steps above, the form window will close and the “Anonymous ticket <ticket name> has been successfully created” message will appear in the upper-right corner of the screen.
