Inventory events

If the removal or change of any asset or application is detected by the agent, nVision does not decide to remove it from the list or change its properties. Information of such an event is presented in the Events tab. An example of the event list is shown below.

Review the displayed events and perform one of the available actions:

•Ignore does not change the asset status and the asset is still allocated in the same location; this action is advisable for devices periodically connected and disconnected, e.g. a mouse connected to a laptop.

•Move describes the situation when the given device is disconnected from the computer and moved to another location. e.g. a display is reconnected to another computer; specify the new allocation.

•Accept means deleting the asset - it is disposed of and will not appear in the asset list anymore.

If there are multiple similar events, you do not have to consider them separately. Simply use the  button to Accept or Ignore all events. Asset properties can also be managed here.
