1 - Usage of nVision Server: The nVision server should only be utilized on server editions of Windows due to Microsoft's licensing policies, which do not permit hosting applications on client editions of Windows.

2 - You can install the program, but it's important to note that this version of the system is no longer supported. As a result, some features may not be available.

Please be aware that if you encounter technical difficulties, we may not be able to provide a solution due to the unsupported system version. Therefore, we strongly recommend updating your system to a version that is supported by the manufacturer.

3 - Limitations on Windows Version: On this version of Windows, with SecureBoot enabled, network filtering, email monitoring, and DataGuard functionality may not function properly.

4 - Changes in Remote Access Feature: Starting from nVision version 15.0, the remote access feature within the HelpDesk module will no longer operate on computers running Windows XP or Windows Vista. It's recommended to upgrade the system accordingly.

 

Recommended Hardware Requirements for nVision Server:

Intel Xeon Scalable Series 63XX/64XX processor or equivalent, with a CPU clock speed of 2.8 GHz or higher,

Operating system: Windows Server 2019 or newer (64-bit).

IMPORTANT

The nVision server must operate on a static IP address or under a fixed DNS name.

nVision Console:

double core CPU,

2 GB RAM,

400 MB of free disk space,

64-bit operating system,

Windows 8 or newer,

connection to the nVision Server on TCP port 4436 (it is possible to change the port),

for accurate report generation, Internet Explorer version 11.

Minimum requirements for the nVision Agent:

single core CPU,

128 MB RAM,

100 MB of free disk space,

Windows XP or newer,

Connection to the nVision Server on TCP port 4436.

 

The following components are necessary for the application to operate properly. nVision downloads and installs them during installation. If this is not possible, manual installation may be required.

To guarantee the correct operation of nVision Server, nVision Consoles, nVision Agents and net-Tools, add the installation folder

(e.g.: “C:\Program Files (x86)\Axence”) to the list of exclusions of the anti-virus software on each machine – examples:

Eset Antivirus

Kaspersky Antivirus 2018

AVG Antivirus

Bitdefender.

After adding the exclusion, restart the configured computers.

nVision operates correctly with Bitdefender antivirus version 6.12.1-1 or newer.
