Printing labels |
To print labels for selected assets, use the Add to bar codes print queue option. This can be made in one of the following two ways: 1.In the specific asset editing window (see the following screenshot). 2.In the Assets tab displayed in the main application window, by selecting the Add to bar codes print queue option from the context menu of the selected asset.
Printing After all assets whose labels are to be printed have been added to the queue, perform the following procedure: 1.In the main nVision window, select the Print barcodes option. 2.All the assets for which the above-mentioned Add to… option was used are displayed in the Print barcodes window. 3.In order to remove a specific asset from the list, select the Remove option in the context menu. To clear the list, use the Remove all option. Note: the above-mentioned options do not remove assets, but only items to be printed. 4.If there is still at least one selected asset without an assigned inventory number, the button is active to automatically fill in the missing data. 5.To go to the next step, press the button. 6.The print preview screen reflects the settings of the selected printer, in particular paper size and page orientation in 1:1 scale. The block, whose parameters are being configured, is a single rectangle with a barcode and other information to be printed on the label. The number of blocks per page results directly from set margins and dimensions. Barcodes are printed in a manner allowing the fixed size of a single point (bar) in millimeters, regardless of the print resolution (accuracy). 7.Select Print / Print all to print all pages. When finished, the Print preview and the Print barcodes windows will be closed automatically and the list of assets for printing will be cleared. |
