The latest version of nVision combines the two sides of every administrator—a heart full of passion and a mind that cares about order and organization. From now on:
Linking assets in Inventory with HelpDesk tickets brings a number of benefits. It allows you to find out which devices cause the most problems and should be replaced first. On the other hand, it streamlines the process of providing technical support to users, thanks to the knowledge of which asset the given ticket concerns. It is also crucial from the point of view of ITSM processes, in particular Incident Management and Problem Management. This gives you a more complete understanding of what is happening in your network and allows you to manage it more efficiently. Just like that!

nVision 17 saves you valuable time with several different improvements. Creating similar assets based on existing ones is particularly useful when large hardware purchases are not uncommon. The new PowerShell command line will save you time and nerves, making computer management much easier and faster. Finally, we have added the ability to archive multiple messages in HelpDesk with a single click.

The new version of nVision also increases security and helps you comply with legal standards. In the context of the Whistleblower Protection Act, we are introducing a special page that allows whistleblowers to report violations anonymously—in full compliance with applicable law.
Another interesting feature is the expanded alarm function, which, starting with version 17, can also cover user activity outside office hours. This is important due to the risk of data leakage by employees.

Ability to import any user account attributes from Active Directory.
Copying (duplicating) resources with the ability to select parameters for duplication and automatic assignment of inventory numbers.
Linking requests to assets from the Inventory module.
Expansion of the web interface with information about assets on the ticket list.
Expansion of the web interface with information about assets in the ticket metrics.
Alarm when a user logs in outside the selected time range.
Axence nVision® version 17 and later no longer supports the email header monitoring feature.
The new mechanism for remote execution of PowerShell commands and scripts is available for Windows 10 (1809) and Windows Server 2019 and later versions.
The new features introduced in this version are responses to suggestions made by Admins. If you also have something to say, don't hesitate to let us know. We believe that users know best what they need, which is why we always listen to their voices, regardless of whether they are guided by reason or emotion!
