We are going to Lithuania’s biggest IT security conference

We are going to Lithuania’s biggest IT security conference

Big Brother or IT security?

- this is the topic of the presentation by Mr. Grzegorz Oleksy, the founder of Axence, which will take place in the main room of the Litexpo fair center in Vilnius during the IT Saugumo conference. The participants will learn how employee activity monitoring improves the corporate data security level. The purpose of this is not the surveillance or inspection of the workforce, but prevention against threats, which often result from the employees’ lack of awareness during their use of the network. More and more companies are acknowledging the importance of the problem. In a poll by TNS, at the request of HP, as many as 59% of the people responsible for IT in Polish companies believe that the deployment of IT monitoring tools, such as Axence nVision, would improve the security level within their companies.

Presentation agenda

Grzegorz Oleksy’s presentation in Vilnius will consist of the following issues:

  • purposes of employee monitoring
  • types of monitoring and supervision
  • practical aspects of the deployment of an employee monitoring system within an organization
  • examples of employees’ actions which constitute a threat to IT security
  • tools for monitoring employees’ usage of their workstations
  • collecting information about work duration, used applications, printouts, visited webpages etc. as a part of the integrated infrastructure management and IT security policy within an organization.

We also encourage you to watch a short video inviting you to the conference.
