Axence breaks barriers! The nVision 17.0 interface is now available in nearly 30 languages

<p>On December 2, 2025, the most influential media outlet in Polish IT, the monthly magazine IT Professional, held its awards ceremony. Axence's solutions received two awards, both in the Readers' Choice category.</p><p>The network and IT infrastructure management software – Axence nVision® 16.5 – won in the Monitoring and Management category, earning the title of Product of the Year. This is nVision's 14th consecutive victory in this prestigious competition. It is all the more gratifying that it is the readers themselves – nVision users – who have been appreciating this solution for years. Despite changing technology, the product not only keeps up with the changes, but also stays ahead of them and sets the direction for development.</p><p>However, this was not the only reason for the Krakow-based company to celebrate. The premiere of Axence nVision® 17.0 is coming, where heart and mind will join forces to support IT

<p>We are constantly working on developing our nVision software to provide you with the best quality and user experience. Today, we are launching nVision 16.6, which includes numerous new features and useful improvements.</p><p><strong>What's new for you?</strong></p><p>When it comes to the functionality of the entire software, it is definitely worth mentioning the completely new, redesigned <strong>nVison installer</strong>. UX improvements include a new server and management console installation mechanism.</p><p>We have also expanded the <strong>report management</strong> capabilities, which now also include users with the “Operator” role. We have also added <strong>support for the TLS 1.3 protocol</strong> and removed support for the SSL 3.0 protocol. But that's not all; it is also worth mentioning the <strong>update to the OpenSSL library</strong> in nVision.</p><p>As for individual modules, we have made improvements to the HelpDesk and Users module.</p><p>Our HelpDesk has gained new superpowers that will help you rush to the rescue. From now on, after a connection loss, <strong>remote access will automatically resume</strong>. We are always listening to what administrators using nVision have to say. In response to these needs, we have improved the use of additional fields in HelpDesk. What is the conclusion? If you have any comments or ideas on how to improve nVision, let us know, and we will do our best to implement these improvements.</p><p>We have enhanced the Users module with an updated TCP/IP stack integration component that allows you to filter network traffic.       <h2>New version of Axence nVision available for download!</h2>
<p>The latest version of Axence nVision software marked as <strong>8.2</strong> is now <a title="Download Axence nVision" href="en/downloads/" target="_blank"><strong>available for download</strong></a>. The new release includes some changes which improve the software functionality and many improvements facilitating the daily work of IT professionals.</p>
<h2>What’s new?</h2>
<p>Version 8.2 introduces Axence nVision <strong>inventory Agents for different Linux distributions and OS X</strong>. Up until now, devices running under these systems could only be included in the inventory taking process with use of an offline scanner. It is worth remembering that, with use of SNMP, Axence nVision also allows the monitoring of <strong>parameters of Linux servers</strong> and TCP/IP services running on such machines. The software also enables the monitoring of the environment with use of temperature and humidity sensors, which helps to protect the servers against overheating/fire/flooding. Some important changes were also made in <a title="Axence nVision - User activity monitoring" href="en/nvision-pro/users-activity-monitoring/" target="_blank">Users module</a>. The administrator is now able to specify<strong> the hourly range of monitoring</strong> in the Agent profile, which is <strong>important in the case of devices</strong>, which are used privately by the employees after office hours. Furthermore Axence nVision in version 8.2 shows the names and sizes of attachments in the monitored e-mail messages. Network administrators can use this feature to check whether an e-mail was used for <strong>strategic data leakage</strong>. Another interesting and new software function is <strong>“Schedule” event</strong>, allowing alerts to be defined, which will execute the user-defined actions at the specified time (e.g. a command to turn off all machines at 7:00pm). Axence nVision 8.2 will also <strong>automatically download and install updates</strong> for the nVision management server. <strong>The transfer of Agent icons between network maps</strong> has now been automated. When a machine with an installed Agent (e.g. a laptop) connects to nVision from a network different than the previous one (e.g. from a public WiFi hot spot), the icon of this machine will be transferred to the respective map of the network, where it is currently located. Except for the modifications described above, several smaller interface improvements have been introduced and the network filtering mechanism has been upgraded. All changes are specified in <a title="Axence nVision – List of changes in the software" href="en/list-of-changes/" target="_blank">the revisions history available on the website</a>.</p>    </div>

The presentation of <a title="Axence" href="en/" target="_blank">Axence’s</a> flagship product received a very warm reception. The contacts which were obtained will help us to develop our presence in foreign markets, especially in the USA.
